UK Delivery
Free delivery on all orders
We use Royal Mail’s Tracked 24hr Signed For service. Royal Mail aims to deliver in 1-2 working days (once the order is finished and dispatched).
USA Delivery
Free delivery on orders over £50
We use UPS. This typically takes 3-5 business days (once the order is finished and dispatched).
There is a £4 delivery fee for orders under £50.
We are based in the UK, so additional duties may apply upon arrival of orders, generally you will only be subject to these duties and taxes if the value of your order is greater than US$800. We are not responsible for these additional costs. Shipping & duties are non-refundable.
Europe Delivery
We now cover all import taxes and customs duties for European orders placed with us.
If you are requested by the courier or customs agency to pay for charges relating to import of our goods, please forward the correspondence to us at hello@ratbetty.com so that we can resolve the issue for you.
Free delivery using Royal Mail Tracked & Signed For Service for orders between £50 to £125. There is a £4 delivery fee for orders under £50. This takes 14-28 days (once the order is finished and dispatched). *Note this service is not available for customers in Norway or Italy, we can only ship via DHL Express to these countries.
There is the option for DHL Express Shipping for customers who need their items sooner.
DHL Express free for orders over £150. This takes 3-5 business days (once the order is finished and dispatched).
Australia & NZ Delivery
Free delivery using Royal Mail Tracked Service for orders over £50.
There is a £4 delivery fee for orders under £50. This takes 21-28 business days (once the order is finished and dispatched).
DHL Express shipping available for customers who need their items sooner. This is free for orders over £240. This takes 3-5 business days (once the order is finished and dispatched).

Canada Delivery
Free delivery for orders over £240
We ship to Canada via express courier (either FedEx or DHL Express).
Shipping is free for orders over £240. This takes 3-5 business days (once the order is finished and dispatched).
We are based in the UK, so additional duties may apply upon arrival of international orders - these are calculated by your local customs authority. We are not responsible for these additional costs. Shipping & duties are non-refundable.

Rest of World Delivery
Free DHL Express shipping for orders over £240.
There is a £30 delivery fee for orders under £240. This takes 3-10 business days (once the order is finished and dispatched).
We are based in the UK, so additional duties may apply upon arrival of international orders - these are calculated by your local customs authority. We are not responsible for these additional costs. Shipping & duties are non-refundable.
We are unable to deliver to Russia.

Duties & Taxes (for orders outside of the UK, EU and US)
For orders outside of the UK, EU & US, additional duties map apply upon arrival
These are calculated by your local customs authority. We are not responsible for these additional costs. Shipping & duties are non-refundable.
Any import duties and taxes are charged once the package has reached the destination country and these charges must be paid by the recipient of the package. Customs policies vary by country. If you have any questions related to customs charges you are advised to contact your local customs.
If you refuse a shipment from Rat Betty, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, import fees incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to Rat Betty. This amount will be deducted from your refund. In the instance, the return fee exceeds the amount of the original purchase plus shipping costs, the package will be abandoned and you will not be refunded.

When will my order be shipped?
All our jewellery is handmade in Brighton. Shipping times are approximate and will be from the date of dispatch, not the date of order. Please see product pages for processing time. Please note we do not ship on weekends or bank holidays.

How will my order be packaged?
All orders come packaged in a Fairtrade cotton pouch within a recyclable branded Rat Betty black jewellery box. We also include a care card!
Can my order by gift wrapped?
All orders come packaged in a Fairtrade cotton pouch within a recyclable branded Rat Betty black jewellery box. We also include a care card!
If you'd like to go the extra mile for someone then additional gift wrapping can be purchased here. This gift wrapping includes everything above and is packaged inside of a larger recyclable jewellery box with recyclable tissue paper, all wrapped in recyclable ribbon.
Can I add a personalised note?

Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations
Do you offer returns / exchanges?
You can return any item for a refund or exchange within 30 days of receiving your original order.
Merchandise must not be worn or damaged. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for the shipping of all returns and exchanges. We will ship the exchanged item back to you. For your security, we recommend shipping your package with a carrier that can provide you with a tracking number. Please note that Rat Betty is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit.
How do I return or exchange my piece?
Please email info@ratbetty.com with “Return” or “Exchange” and your order number in the subject line. You will receive an email with information on next steps.
The returned package must include: a note containing the order number, and the item being returned. We will send you an email as soon as we receive your package.
Can I cancel my order?
All orders can be cancelled before we've shipped your package.
Once we've shipped your package, you'll still be entitled to a full refund if you send the package back to us in original condition, details above.
If you're based outside the UK and refuse a delivery from our couriers, they will either destroy it or send it back to us. If the shipment is destroyed your order will not be eligible for a refund. If the shipment is returned undamaged, the order will be eligible for a refund after deducting the cost of shipping and taxes & duties (if applicable).
