We’ve held out as long as we could! We haven’t changed our prices since 2019, and are beginning to feel it. The online graph showing silver prices over the last few years, looks like the hike up Everest—steep, relentless, and full of hikers’ excrement.
It’s not just silver, though. Pretty much everything we need to make our jewellery has gone up. We want to ensure we can keep creating pieces that you love in a sustainable way:
-
We only make our jewellery here in our Brighton workshop
-
Our castings are done in Birmingham, and our chains/findings come from Italy
-
No scrimpin’ on silver, no hollowed-out chunky pieces (because we love weighty jewellery, it looks better and it lasts longer!)
-
Our small team of 5 work a 30-hour week
-
We make an annual donation of 10% of profits to charity (via GWWC pledge)
-
We use second-hand gemstones and have them cut locally (this is at least triple the cost of sourcing these online but we feel this option is more ethically sound - read more here)
-
We use Fairmined Eco gold (more info here)
This price adjustment ensures we can keep making the jewellery you love, with the quality and integrity we refuse to compromise on.
💥 New prices take effect from March 17th, 2025—so if you’ve been eyeing something, now’s the time!
This wasn’t an easy decision (small biz life = nervous sweating), but we know it’s the right one. Thanks for your support.
