Refund policy
Exchange and Returns Policy
- Orders can be exchanged or returned within 60 days of delivery.
- Items must be returned unworn and in their original condition. Please note:
For hygiene reasons, pierced earrings can only be returned if they are unopened and in their original packaging with all seals intact.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable, and customers are responsible for the cost of returning goods to us.
- We recommend returning items using a tracked shipping service, as goods remain your responsibility until they reach us.
- Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you by email.
- This does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Faulty or incorrect items
If your item arrives faulty or incorrect, please email info@ratbetty.com with:
- your name
- order number
- a brief description of the issue
- a photo (or video) of the issue
We will resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
How to return or exchange
Email info@ratbetty.com with “RETURN” or “EXCHANGE” and your order number in the subject line. Shipping costs are non-refundable. The cost of returning the goods to us is your responsibility. We will ship the exchanged item back to you. You will receive an email with information on next steps (incl. the address to send the goods back to). We will send you an email as soon as we receive your package.
